Today is a travel day for me. I will be flying out of Hawaii at 1:00pm (7:00pm ET) with a short layover in Phoenix before landing back in Indy at 6:00am ET.

The OPIHI rookies have all been claimed... and are asked to report for off-season OTAs by this Thursday. We have a series of scrimmages lined up with Frenzy Champion Predators... who will be out here on their promised free island cruise given by their cruise-line mogul owner.

It was a banner draft by the OPIHI, who bring in 8 rookies to compete for 5-6 taxi/practice squad spots. The Opihi are envisioning bringing a number of current TS players to the active roster at the end of this summer. In the meantime, we'll only be taking the best of the best... so let the competition begin!

The Scorpions, Bad Dogs, Chi-Town Cards, Cowboys Geeks and THE Mighty Chunks rookies were all invited to hold scrimmages too...but after they all discovered the Dispensary in Platte Ave, we are just having them over for Dorritos and cookies!!

Whoa... who said anything about a free cruise for the players? Ownership is going on the cruise while the players scrimmage in the beautiful Oahu weather. Their reward is 11 days in the islands feasting on Opihi. Isn't that reward enough?

After 58 picks in 7 days, the 2014 Frenzy Rookie Draft is complete. Any undrafted rookies are now UFA's.

Now, when does UFA open again? June 1?
