Now we're moving... for at least two more picks today: Ragers & Mutts. Then we've got the "UK Delay" for a few more hours... and back running in the AM! Glad to see us blow through a few picks this afternoon (or evening, depending on where you call home).

Yup it's been a good draft day for sure.

Of course, I'm biased somewhat since it started off with waking up to the offer for 1.20 which allowed me to snag Craig Davis from Brett's greedy little fingers. Then I was able to land Mike Walker as well 3 picks later... yeah, it's been a good day!

As we approach the last pick of this day (before we await our UK "sleeping beauty" to rise and make his pick)... I was just reflecting on how fun the rookie draft is at this time of the year! Right now, every prospect looks like a great addition to our squad... and we're actually concerned about whether a particular guy falls to us by our next pick.

Because pretty soon, the majority of these guys (2nd round and beyond) will simply be taking up space on our taxi squad. Looking back at many of the guys who have been on my squad for the past years, they've stayed on my squad... and have never made it up to "the big show." Maybe I just have a bad record at the rookie draft (past the opening round, that is)? But I bet most of these guys will spend their entier fantasy life on our taxi squads.

Just waxing poetic for a moment... (now back to the draft!)
