cut QB Phillip Rivers, LAC (612/1) *** CLAIMED by Chickens ***
A move way overdue, should have done this before the season. Swapped one talented but pouty interception prone QB for another, saving a couple hundred CBs in the end.
Ironically they play each other this week. Despite the Chargers more stout pass D, hoping Eli can put up a halfway decent showing at home.

Eli spurned by Chickens, picked up by Preds. Rivers loses his job to Eli and is claimed by Chickens.
Ironically they play each other this week both, on the NFL Grid Iron as the Chargers travel to the Giants, and in the Frenzy as the Chickens travel to the Preds. Certainly an interesting story dynamic. Preds could have waited till Saturday morning to cut Rivers so a waiver claim wouldn't have been an issue, BUT, frankly would rather win or lose against the Chickens with their strongest lineup. FWIW we meant to bid on PK Zeurlein but that was because we wanted him for Haushka's week 6 bye, not because we wanted to play keep away. May the better team win this week (hopefully my Preds, but in the fantasy game of football, you just never know, ever)!
