3.3 RB Derrick Ward - NY Jets
I can't believe I'm this excited about a player this late in the draft... D-Ward is the complete package physically, the only knock on him being his smarts after flunking out of Division 1 ball and finishing up in the NAIA conference (where he appropriately averaged over 200 yds and 2 tds a game). Edwards himself, however, was quoted a few days ago saying that his intelligence won't be a problem at all because he has such incredible instincts. Also, LaMont Jordan is making alot of negative noise in New York, and at the same time D-Ward is getting rave reviews from camp from the players themselves, who reportedly "ooh" and "ahh" every time he runs the ball. Maybe Derrick will make Jordan truly expendable... :smoke

Jake- You know how I said I was not going RB here? If I had this was the guy that I had next after Carthon. With Martin getting up in age and Jordan causing friction I think this is a great upside pick.

When you said you might go RB later, I thought this might be the guy. I couldn't wait on him till 3.6, no way he would have fell that far.
