I hereby request that my 3rd round comp pick be dropped down to a 4th, as I don't currently have a 4th.

This looks completely wrong to me. Here's the quote from the poll:

"Amongst picks of the same round, the order will be determined by the higher of the total tender levels of all players declined. The tiebreaker will be the higher of the total amounts paid over tender level of all players declined."

The fact that I tendered Steve Smith at 1800, and matched him has no relevance on the comp picks. We are only looking at players declined. So for me, I declined on Tony Gonzalez (tendered at 750 and sold for 1049) and Deion Branch (tendered for 600, sold for 620) so my totals should be 1350 tendered and 319 over tender.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I agree that I have it wrong currently (again) sorry guys.

But here is my question. Total tender levels or amount level.

Example

Roger - 1st round RB (2400) (4 pts) and 1st round QB (1200) (4 pts) = 3600 and 8 pts

Clemens - 1st round RB (2400) (4 pts) and 2 round RB (1600) (3 pts) = 4000 and 7pts

So is tender level (on declined players) mean cyber bucks amount or points amount

Using our example:

If cyber bucks is the decider - Clemens has the higher amount
If points is the decided - Roger has the higher amount.

Sorry for all the confusion and I will iron it out today during my break.

Thanks for bearing with me!

Joel

No prob, Joel, we'll get there

Tender level here means $ amount. Losing three 1st level (2400) RBs is much more than losing three 1st level (750) TEs. Plus, we'd have A TON of ties if it was the level # itself.

Clemens has the higher amount in your example.

And the youngest girls. No wait, that's Karl Malone.

That chart is very helpful. The only thing it doesn't show is each original tender, for teams with more than one they didn't match. For example, the first 5 teams listed obviously had more than one player they didn't match. Does it make a difference what the original individual tender values were? Should a 2400 RB designation and a 200 QB designation weigh more than a 1800 WR designation & a 800 RB designation (or are they both even at 2600 total loss)? I guess I'm trying to ask is there any value to the highest tendered position... or is it all total compensation?

Upon further review. I think what we've got here is the best thing. I retract my confusing question.

Move along... nothing to see here (in my previous post, that is!).

I would just like to point out that, assuming the above if correct ( ;) ) we handed out a grand total of 1 first round comp pick. We may still have disagreements about how the picks should be ordered and whatnot, but I think bottom line, we finally got a system that WORKS!

As the sole owner of a first round comp pick, I completely agree.

OK, I just see one more error. The Ragers are listed with 3150 total for tendered non-matched players. I'm showing the only player they didn't match as Larry Johnson, tendered at 2400, which will affect the order. I haven't had a chance to audit all the others, but that one jumped out at me.

Yes Thanks Brian. I had Cooley being not matched for some reason.

Fixed.
