PASSES 9-1: Extend Roster Compliance Deadline
SAC'D just passed the following rule to provide a slightly longer grace period for roster compliance. It would be nice to have both leagues following the same, but of course we need a vote.
Here's the rule proposal: This rule would replace the existing 24 hour roster compliance deadline by extending it to the end of day on the day AFTER an acquisition (11:59 PM ET post timestamps). Acquisitions include free agents, waiver claims, trades, etc. For example, if a free agent bid is won on October 1 at 7:00pm ET, any roster moves to get into compliance would need to be posted by October 2, 11:59pm ET. Rule passes 9-1 (missing votes from Shiners and Wolfpack) and was passed prior to 2025 season rollover.
