Damn, we didn't have a single player SELL on Wednesday!

Do you think TO finally sells Thursday morning? And how about those 2nd tier RB's... has Garner hit his ceiling?

What about Amani Toomer... is he a forgotten man with an 800cb tender from the Waste?

Finally, enquiring minds want to know whats up with the TE's and K's... are they unbiddable at those levels? Ah hell, I think I'll bring Vandy in to play myself .

Things have been quiet the past day or so, lets pickup the chatter before the weekend hits!

TO-I hope not, I'd love to see more money come off the board.

Garner-Not according to me.

Amani-He'll be on the board when the other receivers are gone.

Bubba Franks is tendered as a 4th rounder giving him a salary of 150, making him the 4th highest paid tight end in the league. Something is wrong with that.

Bubba and Marcus's tenders are only 50cb's above the league minimum, I don't think the ender nor compensation is too high. I think our TE tender scale is appropriate... also a lot of TE's are UFA's, so those numbers will go up significantly I'm sure.

Regardless, this is inline with my points yto you in our earlier debates that the Frenzy simply doesn't place much value on the TE position... right or wrong.

QB difference between 1-12: 79.35 points
RB difference between 1-12: 182.10 points
WR difference between 1-12: 110.75 points
TE difference between 1-12: 101.3 points
K difference between 1-12: 62.25 points

Not sure what this means but if you sort them by the points difference you get:
RB difference between 1-12: 182.10 points
WR difference between 1-12: 110.75 points
TE difference between 1-12: 101.3 points
QB difference between 1-12: 79.35 points
K difference between 1-12: 62.25 points

This seems to imply (I have not spent that much time thinking about it, I admit) that TE’s actually have more influence (impact) than QB’s.

I'm not disputing the impact the top TE's in the game have over the avg TE. That is pretty much an established fact.

What I've pointed out for the past month or so, is that, for whatever reason, the Frenzy itself has not devoted many cb's to the TE position. Maybe that'll change, but people seem hesitent to pay TE's the big cb's unless they're farily confident that the TE will be highly productive above his peers.

Before you get all touchy on me Mike, let me just clarify that I did not indicated exactly what I thought was wrong with it.

I'm sure as the UFA period goes on those numbers will change.

I apologize if you thought I was coming out attacking you, that wasn't the case at all... I was just re-stating my opinion on the Frenzy's value of the TE position!

I think we can all well agree that I would be the last person in the league to discredit the importance of the TE position (considering I'm paying Gonzo over 1000cb this season), but let's look at the TE numbers again. Ignoring the top 3 from last year, the difference between #4 and #34 is only 40 points. Thus, if you don't have one of the top 3, TE is by far the most meaningless position using this criteria as our basis for jusdgement.

I haven't looked at any of the other positions, so I'm not sure what other anamolies like that may exist.
