For the record it was the Fox broadcast of the game and it was NFL.com's play-by-play. Not that it matters since the NFL statisticians do not consider a partial block to be a block for statisical purposes.

I just spent about an hour between work and reading this thread. Why? Because I had the NO D at my other league and it didn't give them a score for this so call "block" and my game is coming down to the wire tonite. It's gonna be a close one but I agree with everyone's assessment of the rule. It may cause me the game but that is how it goes.
