Well, it only took about 6 years, but I was finally busted for too much internet use at work. Thus, my constant monitoring and posting has taken a huge hit. The notes, as well as just about everything else I do will be taking a hue lag. But, as Mike requested, here are the notes from last weeks' games.
The Ypsilanti Undead continue their worst season at 4-8. They will finish the season under .500 for the first time ever. They have now lost three games in a row, a new personal worst losing streak. David Akers’ 16.2 points was the 3rd highest kicker score in Undead history, and highest since Paul Edinger scored 17.4 points in week 12 of the 2003 season. Akers passed Adam Vinatieri to move into 5th place all time among Frenzy kickers. Akers has 325.8 points in 36 games for a 9.1 average from 2001-05. The Parkwood Predators 179.4 points was their highest score ever surpassing their previous high of 169.65 set last week. It was the 3rd highest score ever in the Frenzy, just behind the 2nd highest score of 179.4 by the Nittany Dodgers last year in week 8, but far behind the all time record of 191.75 points by the Nittany Dodgers in week 5 of the 2002 season. The Predators margin of victory over the Freedom of 113.75 points was the 2nd highest ever, behind the Squirrel Chasers 128.4 defeat of the Wonder Mutts in the 2003 season. LaDanian Tomlinson’s 48.6 points was the 3rd highest RB score in Preds history, and 9th highest in Frenzy history. Alge Crumpler’s 25.9 points was the highest TE score ever for the Predators, surpassing the previous team record of 20.1 points scored by Marcus Pollard in week 10 of the 2001 season. It also was the 8th highest TE score in Frenzy history. The Philadelphia Freedom are having their worst season ever at 2-10. Their 65.65 points was the 3rd lowest score in team history. Five of their ten lowest scores ever have been posted in the 2005 season. The Royal Hawaiian Opihi are having their best season ever at 10-2, and have surpassed their previous best win total of 9 games set in 2003. They set a new Frenzy record with their 9th straight win. Carson Palmer’s 33.45 points was the 8th highest QB score in Opihi history. Jeremy Shockey’s 25.7 points was the highest TE score ever for the Opihi, surpassing the previous team best of 21.4 points by Jeremy himself in week 6 this season. It also was the 9th highest TE score in Frenzy history. Torry Holt passed Randy Moss to move into 3rd place all time among Frenzy wide receivers. Holt has 900.85 points in 60 games for a 15.0 average. The Soap Box Derby Cars 142 points was their 4th highest score ever. Andre Johnson’s 27.9 points was the 3rd highest WR score in team history. Lawrence Tynes’ 16 points was the 2nd highest K score in Derby Car history. Liquid Swords The Jersey Toxic Waste have their best record after 12 weeks at 7-5. Todd Heap’s 23.7 points was the highest TE score ever for the Waste, surpassing Heap’s previous team record of 22.9 points set in week 4 of the 2002 season. Wonder Mutts Bay Area Bloodsucking Insects Jacksonville’s 14 points tied the 9th highest D score in Brain Dead Squirrel Chasers history. Randy McMichael passed Antonio Gates to move into 5th place all time among Frenzy tight ends. McMichael has 320.8 points in 44 games for a 7.3 average from 2002-05. The Nittany Dodgers tied their personal best winning streak at five games, done last year in weeks 10-14. Tiki Barber passed Ahman Green to move into 5th place all time among Frenzy running backs. Tiki has 1113.5 points in 53 games for a 21.0 average from 2001-05. The Urza’s Ragers tied their worst record after 12 weeks at 4-8, done also in 2001 and 2002. |

Alas, I have only been costing the country the pittance of a salary I've been paid, which, as I work for a bank, is not nearly significant enough to dent the tremendous amount of productivity exhibited by my co-workers, and average worker in the industry. SARCASM ALERT! |
