A 7th rd pick taken 251st overall in the NFL draft is going 20th overall in the Frenzy? Seriously? I'm sure most of you are happy to see us go off the board with a sleeper pick so early, however, the Preds are super excited to add another dynamic RB with tremendous skills to our stable.

Jackson has all the tools to be a star in the NFL. He's an explosive, intelligent runner with an endless number of moves to make defenders miss. He was an exceptional producer in college at Northwestern, with 4 consecutive 1,000 yard seasons (just the 2nd player in Big 10 history to do so, and only the 9th player ever in FBS history). Over 4 years at Northwestern, Jackson rushed for 5,440 yards (making him Northwestern's all-time leading rusher), 41 TDs, and 858 receiving yards. This past season he was 2nd in the nation in rushing to Oregon's Royce Freeman.

He may be in a crowded backfield at the moment with Gordon and Ekeler ahead of him, but has the talent to surpass Ekeler as backup to Gordon at some point this season, and who knows, if something happens to Gordon could step in and be a major surprise.
