That second sentence just made my year. Seriously. Now, to go 2-0 vs. Mike next season, and pull this rivalry into a tie! muhaha!!!!

Brian, since I have so little to hang my hat on this year, can you add in the missed FG return TD that the site never gave my defense credit for back in Week 9 (when SD returned Minnesota's missed FG)? I brought it up in a thread at the time and you agreed that it should count (I searched in vain and can't find that thread).

That should add 6 points to the season Popes total and SD D's season total.

I thought it would be cool to pull out all the new Top 10 performances and put them together. Yeah, I am grasping at the only straw I have for team pride this year (and yes, it's my post, so I'll bold what I want to bold).

New entrants to Top 10 yearly performances:

QB:
#2: T. Brady (Absolut): 429.3 points
#5: T. Romo (Mutts): 384.25 points

WR:
#1: R. Moss (Absolut): 281.4 points
#5: T. Owens (Mutts/Popes): 248.75 points

TE:
#3: A. Gates (Preds): 176.5 points
#3: J. Witten (Opihi): 176.5 points
#5: T. Gonzalez (Dodgers): 164.9 points
#7: K. Winslow (Preds): 159.8 points

K:
#5: R. Gould (Dodgers): 122.8 points
#8: S. Graham (Mutts): 120.3 points

Def:
#10: San Diego (Popes/Opihi): 151 points

If it makes you feel better 8-20 (.286) is probably just about the same winning percentage that I have in my seven year here.

Edited to add: I just checked and my hot streak at the end of the year seems to have pushed me out of the cellar here. My whooping 35-63 record is a winning percentage of .357. Of course 16 of those 35 wins have come in the past two seasons as my record through my first five years was 19-51 which is .271.

I believe I already added that into my records, but I'll double check.
