I proposed this in SAC'd and people think it a good idea, so I thought I would throw it out here too:
As the NFL schedule for 2011 has not yet been published, I would like to bounce an idea off you all. If the lockout is not resolved, and a schedule published before we begin UFA bidding, I would like to propose each team be allowed one free cut once the schedule is published. This would allow those teams who end up with Bye conflicts that would have been avoided had we known the schedule before bidding began? I think limiting this to one cut, and only those players picked up in UFA bidding would be allowed. Thoughts?

I thought the schedule is coming out the week of the draft?
At least that's what my embarassing, annoying, self-defeating daily NFL-related procrastination from doing much more important real-life things turned up recently: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...edule-tuesday/ |

Of course, I'd gladly support the idea.
(On an unrelated note, the MFL site needs the 4-year veterans moved out of TS!) |

Yes true...are you able to come up with a list of who needs to be moved?

If you look at Swords' roster app, isn't it just whoever is on the TS and was drafted in 2008?
I am not sure what are the PS rules. |
