To be honest it probably was.. I never even checked (clicke don the link off the portal). I had to do the Stick twice, so I'm thinking I unstuck it and stuck it again .

I like to try and copy the website information into a word document for easier reference throughout the year.

Yes, all of the votes are already conculsive, Brian and I have already had discussions on getting the rules updated ASAP.

Can someone confirm that the waiver wire only applies during the in-season portion of the year?

This is probably a stupid question... but we cannot use our waiver position for UFA's, right? If I fail to designate a player as a RFA, he automatically becomes a UFA and is not elligible for waiver claims. Only those players who still have an upcoming contract year available and are cut can be claimed... (I'm sure this is correct, just want to be clear... plus, I feel the need to get back in the posting business here!).

Anyhow, your question was basically why I was asking my question earlier. I will defer to Mike and Brain (since it is likely covered somewhere in the rules already).

No, UFA's are NOT subject to waivers. THeir contracts have simply expired.
Players subject to waivers are those CUT by their Frenzy team.

What I don't have a conclusive answer on (and look to Brian on this one) is whether or not players cut in the few days prior to April 1st will be eligible o be claimed on April 1.

Since we are starting this process anew, I'd say it only applies to players cut in 2005 and beyond (i.e. players cut after April 1) but I'd like to see where Brians stands.

As for the rules, Brian got me an update in a timely manner, but I haven't had the time to integrate them into HTML in the past few days. I'll try my damndest to get that done ASAP so you all have a current set to work off of for 2005.

Correct, the contracts of players not tendered as RFA's contracts expire, so there is no contract to claim.

Also, I had it worded that the waiver wire priority lists becomes effective 4/1, so it would start at the begining of the 2005 season, as when most new rules take place (the following season unless specified otherwise).
