Every time "Dirty Socks" makes his way into my record books I get giddy!

In 3 weeks, Gates has already climbed into 3 of my top 10 TE spots. Considering that the Preds are in our 7th season, that says a lot about "Dirty Socks". It also tells ya how mediocre our TEs have been over the years, especially since Winslow also has a top 10 finish a week ago. Thats 4 top 10 TE records in the last 3 weeks between the 2 of them.

Westbrook singlehandedly brought me victory this week. Kudos for the all-time high output in Opihi RB history.

Read the Frenzy threads, and ask Brian about it.

It'll be a very good laugh for ya!

I think it says more about how bad your previous tight ends were.

I like how 5 years later I still get crap for doubting Gates, yet does anyone say anything about you thinking Boo Williams would be better? I makes one little statement of doubt and it all gets blown out of proportion. Real fair.

No doubt I made the wrong call, but I had also drafted Gates in every other league I was in, so I hedged my bets a little. Too bad.

I DID state that I thought the Mutts signing was a great signing, had I had the roster space I woulda got involved, but I committed earlier to the wrong guys.

I most bitter that I did not trust your and Jake's faith in him. That was one of my last years in my local league. I was down to my last pick in the auction and no one could have out bid me for whoever I wanted. I could have had him for $1 for three years. He would have won the championship for me that year. Instead I took Dallas Clark. I had first waiver priority rights the first week too, and could have picked him up but I stupidly watched the Indianapolis game and saw they threw to Clark twice in the endzone, so I figured that was a sign of good things to come.

Trust me, I regretted not going after him in the Frenzy as I did in all my other leagues.

I believe I won 3 championships with him in 2004.

What no mention of JP Losman getting hurt and scoring a negative .65 for the week? Yeah, it looks like another season like most of the rest for the Freedom...
