The Ypsilanti Undead have their worst record after eight weeks at 3-5. Their 84.8 points was the 3rd lowest score in Undead history. Trent Green’s 31.05 points was the 5th highest QB score in Undead history.

The Parkwood Predators have tied their worst record after eight weeks at 5-3, done also in 2003. Heath Miller’s 15.3 points was the 7th highest tight end score in Predators history.

The Philadelphia Freedom have tied their worst record after eight weeks at 1-7, done also in 2003. Their 77.85 points was the 7th lowest score in team history. Dallas’ 17 points on defense tied the 4th highest defensive total in Freedom history.

The Royal Hawaiian Opihi have their best record after eight weeks at 6-2. The Opihi have tied their personal best winning streak at five games, done also last year in weeks 2 through 6. Jake Plummer’s 37.85 points was the 3rd highest QB score in Opihi history, and highest for the team since Aaron Brooks had 38.35 points in week 7 of 2002. The Opihi won their 30th game in Frenzy history this week, improving to 30-20 lifetime. The Opihi join the Predators, Undead, Mutts, Squirrel Chasers, and Insects as the teams to have reached 30 career wins.

The Soap Box Derby Cars have their worst record after eight weeks at 2-6. Their 132.35 points was the 5th highest score in team history. Joey Galloway’s 24.9 points was the 4th highest WR score in team history.

The Jersey Toxic Waste have tied their best record after eight weeks at 5-3. Stephen Jackson’s 33.25 points was the 6th highest RB score in Toxic Waste history.

The Wonder Mutts have tied their best record after eight weeks at 6-2, done also in 2002 and 2004. Their 143.4 points was the 8th highest in Mutts history. The Mutts have score six of their top ten all time single game scores in the first eight weeks of the 2005 season. Dirty Socks’ 37.5 points was the highest tight end score ever for the Mutts, surpassing his previous team record of 26.1 set in week 9 of 2004. It also was the 2nd highest tight end score in Frenzy history, behind only Shannon Sharpe’s 39.4 points in week 7 of 2002. The Wonder Mutts improved to 3-2 lifetime against the Parkwood Predators, joining the Nittany Dodgers as the only teams to have a winning percentage against the Predators over .500. Terrell Owens became the first wide receiver, and 10th player overall, to score 1000 career Frenzy points. Owens has 1017.8 points in 58 games for a 17.6 average in the Frenzy.

The Bay Area Bloodsucking Insects have tied their best record after eight weeks at 5-3, done also in 2001. Steve Smith’s 31.6 points was the 3rd highest WR score in team history. Jerry Porter’s 27.3 points was the 9th highest WR score in team history.

The Brain Dead Squirrel Chasers’ 81.95 points was the 8th lowest score in team history.

The Nittany Dodgers’ 141.8 points was the 8th highest score in team history. Jake Delhomme’s 33.1 points was the 7th highest QB score in team history, and highest for the team since Rich Gannon had 34 points in week 4 of the 2003 season. Tiki Barber’s 33.6 points was the 6th highest RB score in team history. Tiki Barber became the 6th running back, and 12th player overall, to score 1000 career Frenzy points. Tiki has 1012.15 points in 49 games for a 20.7 average. Tony Gonzalez’ 19.2 points was the 5th highest tight end score in Dodger history.

The Urza’s Ragers have tied their worst record after eight weeks at 3-5, done also in 2002. Their 140.95 points was the 4th highest score in team history, and highest since scoring 146.5 points in week 14 of the 2003 season. Drew Brees’ 32.2 points was the 9th highest QB score in team history. Eric Moulds’ 23 points was the 9th highest WR score in team history. Moulds passed Rod Gardner to become the Ragers’ 3rd all time leading receiver. Moulds has 233.6 points in 21 games for the Ragers in 2003-05. Gardner had 226.3 points in 22 games for the Ragers in 2002 & 2004. Jason Witten’s 9.6 points tied the 9th highest tight end score in team history. Matt Stover’s 17.6 points was the 3rd highest kicker score in team history.
