Most of you know the 2 teams I follow as a :homer, the Buffalo Bills and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Some links for the :Bills Bills: Rochester Democrat & Chronicle and the Buffalo News

and the :Buccaneer Bucs: St. Petersburg Times and the Tampa Tribune

[edited to add]
From my experience, I find the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle often has more substance and better articles on the :Bills Bills and the same can be said for the St. Petersburg Times in regards to the :Buccaneer Bucs.

I don't know how anyone could label me a :Vikings homer, but I can tell you the two local papers are the St. Paul Pioneer Press http://www.twincities.com/mld/twincities/ and the Minneapolis Star Tribune http://www.startribune.com/ .

My two 'homer' teams are the Niners and Seahawks. I also rooted for the Pittsburgh Steeler in my youth, and they've still stayed a favorite of mine. It's a funny story why; when I was 6-7, my mom had a vaccum cleaner with the US Steel emblem on it (before everything was plastic), and the Steelers were on TV. They were horrible, but I started to root for them. Then they drafted Terry Hanraddy (sp?) from Notre Dame, and that was cool with me. Then they got really good and started beating the Choakland Faders and the Snake, and that was even better.

Anyways, local papers:

Seattle Post Inteligencer and Seattle Times for the Seahawks
Contra Costa Times and San Francisco Chronicle for Niners
Know nothing about local Pittsburgh papers.

I can look up the links later if you don't know how to use Dogpile...

Da Bears. I like The Sun-Times (http://www.suntimes.com/index/bears.html) and The Chicago Reader, which only has one sports column and they don't put it online.

Raiders Re: The Homer List

This may be a surprise to a lot of you... But, I am a :insane :taz :homer for Da :Raiders . With the additions made this year we should be able to outscore just about anybody. The only ? this year is... can we stop the other teams from scoring more?

For the discerning Raider Fan... this is a good all around site for news and information. It has links to local newspapers and forums. http://www.raiderslinks.com

Steelers since '72. 2nd would probably be Carolina Panthers.

I pay attention to the :Colts as well, since the stadium is less than an hour away, and the :Bears since I grew up close to Chi-town.

E-A-G-L-E-S... Eagles!!! They WILL win it this year, BTW.

I have no inside source, both the papers are liberal propaganda, so neither are worth buying. The Eagles site will probably have the best info. You can get there from nfl.com, if you wish.

While we're at it, why not list the teams we love to root against? For me, that would be:
the hated Raiders
the insufferable Cowboys
and, of course, the Packers (although I can't bring myself to root against Brett Favre)

Raiders Re: The Homer List

RAIDERS FOR LIFE!

Well unless they move out of Oakland again.

I'm a civic pride guy.... but if I did move out of the Bay Area, the Bay Area teams would be teh ones I still root for.

Go Oakland.... Warriors, A's, and Raiders!

Three up and coming teams!

For me, it has always been the Raiders and the Rams when they were in LA. Of course the move to St. Louis kinda watered the hatred down, but now that the Hawks have moved into the NFC West, it's kind of become a dual hatred. And of course the Donkeys ever since pretty boy Mr Ed dissed the Colts and forced the trade to Denver. Even moving here, and having to sit through their two championships and donkey boys retirement, I still cannot bring myself to root for them (I have nightmares in vivid Orange!!!)

Don't forget you had to get a :Raiders coach to make it happen... Hmmm .. I think the same thing happened in :Broncos . Like I tell everybody... don't hate the Sinner hate the Sin oops :wrongforu :wasntme .. A true Rader Fan loves 'em no matter what..( Al Davis makes me constipated :shit ).. It's not easy being a Raider Fan :nutkick :loser :tribe :loser 3stooges :loser :yikes ( tuck rule) ... All atriots Fans should pucker up and sew thier collective lips to that senile :oldman 's (Al Davis, if your confused). :loserOh ya, I can't forget the :nutkick against the :Buccaneer a couple of SB's ago. :loser
Oh boy, are we due..?
And never forget that the West Coast is the Best Coast.
Late,

PS
BTW reds ... The band wagon in '03 was riding around like a Chevy Impala on cruise night. There were blown out tires and broken axles all around. I tried to put up a good fight but the jumpers over took me in the end. You should have seen the people bailing and breaking ankles at half time during the game. I hate fickleness.
Late again.

Hehe, I almost brought up the '91 playoffs, when my :Bills Bills routed your beloved Raidahs 51-3 enroute to their 1st Superbowl appearance. Both my :homer teams have fared well against the Faiders when it mattered most! ;)

Skins fan here. There are the usual sites for the Post and the washington times but there is a forum on www.extremeskins.com that collates all the online Skins news and articles. Even stuff from ESPN insider and other pay sites.

You do have to register though, but they are pretty cool about non Skins fans as long as you don't obviously troll the main board.

There's also an inside source that occasionally posts on the board called andyman. If you see a post from him then its gospel. He gets the news 12-24 hours before its released to the press.

MY advice is to stay away from the religious/political topics. It gets nasty
