6.7 RB Cedric Houston NY Jets

The Mutts will end their SAC'D 2005 draft with the selection of Cedric Houston. I am rather surprised to see him available here, as most dynasty IDP drafts I've seen have him going a full 2 rounds earlier. Cedric has the size, skills and intangibles to be a starting Rb in the NFL - the issue is injuries. I'm willing to take the risk on a 6th round pick, however, as his injuries have all been minor and he will have a year or two to rehab his body completely while he waits for CuMar to ride off into the sunset. Late round RBs rarely make it in the NFL, but it does happen: 5-23 James Stewart, 6-25 Terrell Davis, 5-18 Dorsey Levens, 7-7 Jamal Anderson, 9-21 Terry Allen to name a few.
