Dang... I just realized I never put a bid amount in. I meant to put 100... like the other two TEs I started the bidding on this week. So... um... guess I need a ruling from someone other than me. |

Doh! By posting the thread, you effectively placed a bid and the minimum bid is 100cbs. I'd say he sells at 100cbs. Plus if someone really wanted to place a bid they would have noticed the missing bid.

I know we generally go on intent when there are issues...I honestly did not know this was a bid or more precisely an intent on a bid since the guy was identified as a QB in the body of text...if we are setting a precedent, then so be it...so all we have to do now is write a players name and it counts as a legally binding offer...got it...

It was written correctly in the description of the title as the player and position and team. I clearly understood what he was trying to do, bid on the player. I agree that it should be a minimum bid placed.
We would also hold him accountable to a minimum bid if he were trying to walk away from this saying he didn't mean to place a bid. Just my 2 cents.

I think requiring the 100 minimum bid is acceptable.
The listing of QB in the body was clearly a typo/brain fart. Even our esteemed commish / league Pastor is human. Also agree with Roosters that we would have held him to the minimum bid if he had tried to retract the post.
