The Ypsilanti Undead are off to their worst start ever at 2-2. John Carney’s 14.7 points was the 3rd highest kicker score in Undead history. The Undead won their 30th career game, and are 30-16 in the Frenzy lifetime.


Peyton Manning’s 33.1 points tied the 5th highest QB score ever for the Parkwood Predators. It was the Predators highest QB score since 2003 when Jeff Garcia scored 33.45 points in week 1. Marvin Harrison’s 27.4 points tied the 6th highest WR score in Predators history.

The Philadelphia Freedom are 1-3 for the 5th straight year. LJ Smith’s 17.2 points was the 3rd highest TE score in Freedom history.

The Royal Hawaiian Opihi’s 173.95 points was the highest ever for the Opihi, surpassing their previous record of 171.35 set in week 11 of 2004 against the Indiana Undead. It also was the 5th highest score in Frenzy history. Marc Bulger’s 35.95 points was the 5th highest QB score in team history. Jeremy Shockey’s 13.7 points was the 4th highest TE score in team history. Neil Rackers’ 24.6 points was the highest ever for a Opihi kicker, surpassing the previous team record of 23.85 set by Adam Vinatieri in week 9 last year. It also set a new league record. Torry Holt passed Joe Horn to become the all time leading Opihi receiver. Holt has 521.35 points in 30 games from 2003-05 for the Opihi. Horn had 504.55 points in 37 games in 2001-03 for the Opihi.

The Soap Box Derby Cars are off to their worst start ever at 0-4.

The Liquid Swords have tied their best start ever at 2-2, done also in 2004.

The Jersey Toxic Waste have tied their best start ever at 2-2, done also in 2003. Donovan McNabb’s 38.05 points tied the 5th highest QB score in team history.

The Wonder Mutt’s 170.4 points was a team record, surpassing their previous best of 156.4 points set in week 2 this year against the Soap Box Derby Cars. It also was the 9th highest score in Frenzy history. Brett Favre’s 39.75 points was the 2nd highest QB score in Mutt’s history, behind only Tom Brady’s 42.55 points score in week 3 of the 2002 season. Brett Favre became the 4th quarterback, and 8th player overall to score 1000+ career Frenzy points. Terrell Owens’ 28.6 points was the 5th highest WR score in team history. Atlanta’s 19 points on defense tied the 4th highest D score in team history.

The Bay Area Bloodsucking Insects have tied their worst start ever at 2-2, done also in 2002-03. Sebastian Janikowsi’s 16.2 points was the 4th highest kicker score in team history.

The Brain Dead Squirrel Chasers have tied their best start ever at 3-1. The Chasers’ 85.7 points was the 9th lowest score in team history.

Plaxico Burress’ 37.4 points was a Urza’s Ragers team record, surpassing the previous team best of 35.2 points by Rod Smith in week 2 of 2001.

So do team records get reset when a new owner takes over? I'd assumed youer records covered the life of the franchise, but if I'm not mistaken, my predecessor guided the then-Vagrants to a 1-3 record to open the 2001 season. (Having the links to past seasons on the league home page is very cool, btw.)

Originally I had the records set up so that when a new owner took over a franchise, they inheritited their predesessors records. I've decided that was kinda lame, so I'm going through and taking out the previous owners records. I am not totally finished with that project, so not all of the records reflect solely current ownership, but I am working on that.
