When is the Frenzy league schedule created and released? I couldn't find any reference in the league rules or in the "2004 Frenzy Season Important Dates" email that went around.

I haven't downloaded the 2004 version of FLM yet, Jake probably hasn't either, but in any case, I think it'd be smart of us to determine and annula date for the schedule to be released that would be BEFORE the NFL releases theirs. The NFL usually relases their schedule in mid April, so I propose from here on out we establish a schedule on the opening day of each new season, which is April 1st. I'll download the most recent version of FLM and set the schedule in the next day or so. One thing that we need to correct from a year ago is fixing the division games to occur on the non bye weeks (which is stated in the rules but got overlooked last year). Division games should occur weeks 1,2, 11, 12, 13, and 14. Weeks 3-10 should be non-division play. |

OK, I've wasted a couple hours this morning and prepped the league website for 2004 and created a 2004 schedule as well.
Here's a link to the schedule http://frenzy.predsff.com/2004/Schedule.html It was randomly generated by FLM with some modifications where I switched some of the early and late weeks around so that all division games occur weeks 1,2,11,12,13, & 14 I also set things up with a Frenzy Bowl III rematch in the 1st and last weeks of the season, although doing so meant that we will play the same division opponent just 1 week apart in weeks 11 and 13 (which should make for some interesting rivalries late in the year). I didn't look at who played who on what byes or anything, all I made sure was that the bye weeks were non-division games which is stated in the rules. If anyone notices an error in the schedule please let me know, and I would prefer if more than one of you could view it for accuracy... moving weeks around to accomodate the division games can get confusing! As for weeks 1 and 14, I hope you all concur that a fitting start and end to the season would be a rematch of the Bowl game. We can't do this every year since 2 teams from the same division don't always make the bowl, however, when it does happen I think we should try to setup rematches weeks 1 and 14. Oh I almost forgot... bring it on Jim, I'm already looking forward to munching on your Opihi again to open the season! :box :wow :champ |

Looks good to me, but it's going to be a harsh road trip to end the season.
