In a move that many saw happening a long time ago, and in light of the signing of Stephen Davis, the Wyverns bid Gonzalez (and his hefty contract) adieu.
The front office is catching hell in the press about not releasing him earlier, but the front office has fired back saying, "We had to make sure we signed a top RB before dropping the best TE in the game." |

Just a question. After cutting Tony Gonzalez in FA can Detriot attempt to resign him?

I'm new at this... but I don't see why not. There are no restrictions on who can or can't sign FAs. The only restrictions I've seen are players on the DS who go ACTIVE can't return to the same team's DS.

Yeah, you can resign him. He just has to take the 20% hit for cutting him which is 407.40. If he signs him for 1600 or less, he just reduces his salary. I wanted to do the same with S Davis, but he got to high 2000 for Davis (ouch!!!!)
