In an aggressive move, the Floyds pick up their quarterback of the future in Sanchez. Although the former Trojan only recorded 16 starts in college, he is regarded as the quarterback prospect with the biggest upside due to his superior arm strength, accuracy and leadership skills. With extensive experience in the West Coast offense, Sanchez is in line to be the Jets' starting quarterback on opening day

"Fantasy Analysis: Sanchez has the tools and the talent to develop into a solid starter, but he’s a little limited as a passer, and it’s a concern how he needs functional space in the pocket to be effective, plus when he needs to move, his (just better than average) arm strength decreases. At times in college he perceived pressure when it wasn’t there, which is a big no-no, and that was playing for USC, where QBs rarely get touched. He has decent size, but he plays a little smaller than he really is."

Other than that, he's a fine pick

The older we get, the less "life in prison" is a deterrent.
