The Black Watch Royal Highlanders surpassed their 2006 win total by improving to 4-5. Joseph Addai's 37.6 points was the 2nd highest RB score in team history. Marshawn Lynch's 34.3 points tied the 4th highest RB score in team history. Addai passed Rudi Johnson to become the Highlanders' all time leading rusher with 317.8 points in 15 games for a 21.2 average. Eric Johnson's 4.7 points tied the 8th highest TE score in team history.

The Parkwood Predators have tied their best record after nine weeks at 7-2, done previously in 2001 and 2002. Kellen Winslow's 18 points was the 10th highest TE score in team history. Pittsburgh's 21 points was the 6th highest D score in team history. The Predators improved to 6-0 lifetime against the Derby Cars, tying the Opihi for the most victories against a single opponent without a loss (both against the Derby Cars).

The Philadelphia Freedom have tied their best record after nine weeks at 5-4, done previously in 2006. The Freedom have won three games in a row, tying their presonal best winning streak done previously three times. Their 132.35 points was the 9th highest score in team history. Lee Evans' 27 points was the 6th highest WR score in team history. Evans passed Lavaranues Coles to become the Freedom's 3rd all time leading receiver with 222.65 points in 25 games for an 8.9 average in 2005-07.


The Royal Hawaiian Opihi have their best record after nine weeks at 8-1. Their previous best start was at 7-2 in 2005. Their 182.45 points was the 2nd highest total in team history, behind only their 185.4 points scored in week 8 last year. It also was the 3rd highest score in Frenzy history. Clinton Portis' 34.6 points was the 7th highest RB score in team history. Detroit's 28 points was the 2nd highest D score in team history, behind Buffalo's 29 points scored in week 14 of the 2004 season. Marques Colston passed Eddie Kennison to become the Opihi's 3rd all time leading receiver with 202.5 points in 14 games for a 14.5 average.

The Soap Box Derby Cars have tied their best record after nine weeks at 5-4, done previously in 2006.

The Amish Rake Fighters have their worst record after nine weeks at 1-8. Their 56.5 points was the lowest score in team history. Heath Miller passed Randy McMichael and Jeremy Shockey to become the Rake Fighters all time leading tight end with 66.5 points in 7 games for a 9.5 average.

The Valencia Absolut's 181.7 points was the 4th highest score in league history. The combines score of the Absolut/Ragers game of 312.45 points was the 7th highest scoring game in Frenzy history. Adrian Peterson's 56.5 points was the 6th highest RB score in Frenzy history, and highest in the league since Clinton Portis' league record 61.9 points in week 13 of the 2003 season. Tom Brady passed Brett Favre to move into 4th place all time among quarterbacks in Frenzy history with 1261.7 points in 52 games for a 24.3 career average.

Jamal Lewis' 41.4 points was the 2nd highest RB score in Wonder Mutts history, behind only Marshall Faulk's 59 points in week 7 of the 2002 season. Terrell Owens' 28.4 points was the 8th highest WR score in team history.

The Bay Area Bloodsucking Insects have tied their worst record after nine weeks at 3-6, done previously in 2002.

Adam Vinatieri of the St. Paul Popes passed Jason Elam to move into 4th place all time among kickers in Frenzy history, with 461.85 points in 51 games for a 9.1 career average.

The Nittany Dodgers have tied their best record after nine weeks at 5-4, done previously in 2002, 2005 and 2006. Tony Gonzalez' 21.9 points was the 6th highest TE score in team history.

The Urza's Ragers have tied their worst start after nine weeks at 3-6, done previously in 2002 and 2005. Drew Brees' 40.4 points was the 3rd highest QB score in team history. Green Bay's 17 points tied the 7th highest D score in team history.

Can we add that with our 7th win this season, the Preds have clinched a .500 record or better for the 7th consecutive year! I don't believe any other team has come close to that! ;)

How have my OPIHI been over the years? Can't remember a sub-.500 season...

You only have 6 seasons in the league.

From what I can tell, the team you took over was 6-8 in 2001. You went 7-7 in 2002 (your 1st year). I believe you've had a wining record each season thereafter.

You've certainly been a very strong competitor in the East, not to mention the Frenzy as a whole. I feel for the other 2 teams in our division, as both of us have been strong for years and not left room for Matt or Smitty to gain ground.
