2.2, Philip Rivers, QB, San Diego

Definitely not a need pick with Pennington, Ramsey, and the recently drafted Roethlisberger, but, he is in my estimation the last blue chipper available. I don't want to burn a relatively high pick on a lesser player just because I have enough talent at the position. Starting QBs are at a premium, and I don't see how I can have too many.

classic case of best player available. Nice pick Brian (even with the pick of Big Ben). Very good value IMO.

Great value here. Dodgers arguably get the 2 best QBs from this draft class.

Can't argue with the value here. I considered both he Losman and figured I would take a gamble with Losman. Can't hurt to have depth at a position.
