Did Killer Bees...a former league champ...just bid 2001 for a player with a 1st round tender of 2000??? Really??? And oh, that player is who he is?!?!?!
C'mon man... Well...you do you...I don't get it or understand it, but I am not a former champ... Huh!

It's rough having a title. I would love to explain the dynamics of opening up the bidding for a player at a "certain" time, but as a non title holder, you might not understand. Maybe I think he's way overvalued and would never take him at 2000 so I am going to tie up someone cap space by forcing this sooner than later? Then I can swoop in and pick up everyone I want. Maybe I really want him and will pop it up to 3000 after I see who is interested?

Hell, it took me 2 years to understand I was the GM as well as owner...then I looked at the rules and it took me 2 years to kinda understand them...I just now in year 5/6 feel comfortable devising some sort of "strategy"...
When Burt and I did the Bell for Cooks trade a few years ago I saw Bells points and thought that was his contract...like 420 points vs 2,000 cbs...so yeah, I've done deals on false premises before...I'm pretty sure if I knew the true numbers that deal never would have happened that way...lol
