There are two issues going on. Here's what's going to happen.
1)
Bidding on Players...
The end of the regular season is week 13.
However, any players who didn't sell by the Saturday deadline (ie. Johnny Knox this year) are continued over into week 14 bidding. We eliminated the eBay style of bidding in the offseason. Any players "held over" CAN STILL BE GIVEN multi-year contracts.

Playoff Rosters...
Starting Tuesday at 12:01am, week 14 begins. This is PLAYOFF WEEK. Even though we added the TOILET BOWL this past offseason, the consensus of the rules committee (Myself, Burt, Patrick & John), per an email exchange this past February (that was just rediscovered!), is that playoffs = Frenzy Bowl (not Toilet Bowl). Therefore, the only teams eligible to pick up players for the playoffs are those in the Frenzy Bowl bracket.
