Opihi, you put up a formidable team this year and just barely missed the playoffs. Your really had some bad luck and lost a lot of matchups you should have won. Your Opihi were certainly a dangerous squad.
To be honest, I felt I had to knock your team out now or pay the price later. I think the top 3 teams in the East are head and shoulders above the rest of the league (sorry to y'all, but look at the facts
).
Plus, I did gain a higher pick in next years draft by beating you (not to mention bragging rights... 3-0 in the Frenzy and Tundra against you this year
)! Picks 1.5 and 2.5 for Brooks... it looks a
little better for me now, but I still regret that trade.
I think the Henry deal will work heavily in your favor for the long run too. LT has been great for me this year, but not
that much better than Henry. And Henry has a 4 year deal at 110 compared to LT's 2 year deal at 1300+. I think you win out in that one.
In any case, congrats on your inaugural season... I have a feeling the East will be tough for years to come!
Also, thanks for supporting the Undead and my Predators. I think a beast from the East will win it all this year, the question is, which one?!
