The Predators are very pleased to announce that WR Reggie Wayne has been signed to a 4 year contract and assigned to the active squad.

Wayne brings promising youth to the organization at the WR position at half the cost of aging and injury plagued Muhsin Muhammad (the player he replaced).

In a related move, the Predators announced the release of rookie prospect TE Jerramy Stevens to make room for Reggies long term contract. Stevens was a high 2nd round pick in this years rookie draft, however, he apparently alienated Predators brass with his littany of injuries and poor attitude.
