As the 2008 Rules Updater/Manager, here’s my plan for the year:

We currently have a static rules document from 2005 (http://frenzy.predsff.com/2005FeedingFrenzyRules.html; the link is located in “Sticky: Feeding Frenzy Rules Link” in the Frenzy Rules & Bylaws forum).

My plan is to take those rules and incorporate in the changes since then (as I find them in the various voting threads). There are also a lot of things in those rules that are just no longer in use (e.g. the 24 hour trade review period). As I make a new document, I plan to purge those outdated items. I will keep a running thread where I detail what I’ve purged, so that anyone objecting can voice their opinion and we can discuss. I intend to be purging things that are clearly outdated and worthless and won’t need discussion.

I will also start a thread for people to mention topics they want considered for the 2008 season (of course, each topic will eventually have a its own discussion thread; this will be just to track the issues so I don’t miss any).
