BTW, I have found a way to ensure losing teams don't lose motivation: trade away your 1st round draft pick! As soon as my team was eliminated from contention, my goal became: "make sure that my 1st round pick (that Frank has) is as bad as possible!"
It could be anywhere from 3-6 - I'm shooting for #6.
