Right, I'm just saying that if the goal for those teams is to acutally win, instead of just score as many points as possible, it might be more of a motivator to get them to realize they need to make a roster chance, take some active role in managing their team in order to better their chances, which would be better for the league as a whole.

Okay, I would still think that scoring the most points kinds of acts as a proxy for trying to win (and takes away the head to head factor which could unitentionally harm a team from a better division).
