The biggest hit is for signing 1st round comp RFA's. Why should you be rewarded bonus points if you decide to swap out Larry Johnson for LT? Or you'd rather have Torry Holt and let Marvin Harrison go? You are still getting a top player and you get bonus points to boot?

But what if you lost Rudi Johnson cause you have Henry, Jacobs, and Mike Turner in the wings and then end up signing Antonio Gates? I'd be pissed if I lost points.
I'm against to points subtracting from your RFA unless it is tied to same position. If you lose an RB but sign an RB.. subtract points. Not if you lose a RB and sign a TE or from another position.
