After looking at the numbers, I'm unsure how I feel about it. There was little impact, so is it necessary? But, since there was little impact, do I feel strongly against it? I guess not. My only concern would be if there was a situation where a team was watching their points closely, and decided not to bid on a player because they didn't want to risk signing them and seeing their compensation level go down. I'm on the fence here.
