BTW, I'd also like to add that I think people let the cap penalties restrict their moves too much. Sometime active management is far more important.
My case in point, the Royal Hawaiian Opihi. Jim has made his share of cap penalty snafus, but he's also landed some FA gems in his gambles. Despite over 2g in penalties, yes 2g, twice the amount of any other team, Jim found a way to scramble to the top of the East yet again and secure yet another playoff position for his team (as the #2 seed no less). Jim's done a fantastic job of running a team, working within the system, but not letting the system restrict his activity.
