Seriously. How funny is the part of how it's changed a bunch of times in the past 7 years depending on who is in office.
I'm not sure I'm all for the "wedge strategy" (not even sure I know exactly what it means), but this is politics so it may have more than evo vs. ID behind it.

The various newspaper stories I've read on it have done a horrible job explaining the shift back and forth between democrat and republican control of the school board. They don't mention if there is continual backlash about the science curriculum specifically, or if it is just a real balanced district poltically, so there is continual shifting of balance of power.
The Wedge Strategy is the strategy put forth by the Center for the Renewal of Science and Culture, that I first disovered when we were talking about the Dover case. Michael Behe is a fellow at the Center. One of the Wedge Strategy's five year goals is to basically get ID taught in at least 10 difference states as scientific curriculum. This seems to be a setback.
As far as the Wedge Strategy being diabolical, I wasn't using the term in the "of the devil" definition, but as "appropriate to a devil, especially in degree of wickedness."
