I believe that the rules have a section about rules changes and the process for going through that. This process does not just apply to rules changes that you agree with.
I am not suggesting that we change the rules now. We will follow the process outlined in the rules, just like we plan to do on the ebay style auction ending at the end of off season free agency.
If your entire argument is based on name calling and mocking, I suggest that you come up with a better reason and a better way to articulate it if you want to presuade anyone to your side.

Eh, I'm just in a feisty mood, so I thought I'd come out swinging and get the anti-Mike base riled up ;)... but seriously, as it is you can only win a FA bid on 5 days of the week (T, W, Th, F, Sa)... making Friday bids wait out the weeknd then knocks us down to only 4 days (T, W, Th, F) where bids can be won, which is extremely limiting, and in fact can be used as an advantage to keep guys from winning bids for the upcomng games. When you want to play the bumping game, and keep away, it's real easy to bump small through Friday and make a guy wait out the weekend.
And, what is so bad about using a proxy? When you bid, do you not think about when the bid will be won, and if you'll be around? Is it that hard to PM someone who can make your move if you win the bid? The proxy doesn't even have to be a league member, just someone on the board who can hook you up while you're gone. And if you can't do that, then why not just list the cut and years. Big whoop. Philly has extremely limited net access all throughout the week, yet he's managed just fine. Should we limit bidding to only hours when he can check-in?
This issue just eats at me, there is nothing wrong with the system, it's just a few teams that aren't following along.
