Actually, he only gets 1 year.
He had to declare years within 24 hours of winning the bid (this can also be done by posting the years in with the bid iteself).
FYI, he won the bid on Friday the 17th at 4:31pm, meaning he had to declare years and or cuts (if needed) by Saturday the 18th at the same time. Failure to declare years on time results in a 1 year deal.
