Okay, I misunderstood because I was under the impression that this rule would be open to all players that still have eligibility. Not sure that this would have changed my vote but I definately thought that this rule would allow players like Rogers or Melwelde Moore to the old DS (Taxi Squad). BTW, what happens if I trade Rogers to someone else. It used to be that the new team could put the player on the DS (Taxi Squad) is that option still there?

If Rogers is traded before March 31st, the receiving team could place him on their DS, but it would have to be done before the deadline.
We are still under the 2004 Rules through March 31st at 11:59am. The 2005 Rules kick in on April 1st at 12:00am.
And yes, it would be an administrative nightmare to track existing acitive roster players and allow them to move down!
