Matt,

I wrote the scoring system, and I can tell you the intent of the blocked kick rule was for a completely blocked kick, not a partial block.

The punter still got the ball off, but it was essentially tipped and thus traveled only 22 yards.

I just can't support a "partial block" as being equivelent to a "block"... otherwise why wouldn't they just call it a BLOCKED kick?

Further, FFLM scoring is pretty accurate, and if Elias or wherever they get their stats from had scored the kick as a block FFLM would have reflected it.
