At first glance I thought the numbers should be a little bit higher. However, I think this scale will work well and will provide teams that are losing “superstars” some compensation. I do think that based on this years FA’s we will see quite a few first round tenders (my early estimate would be 6). However, not all of these players will be switching teams so it is not likely that all of them will generate first round supplemental picks.
This should also cut down on the bidding process as most RFA players values will be more closely set based on the perceived market.
Nice work, I think this will continue to make this one of the best and most interesting leagues going.
