I guess this part kind of got by me:
"UFA's picked up as 1 year replacements at or below the Covid-IR players salary will be automatically cut without penalty the moment the NFL team removes the player off the NFL's Reserve-Covid list. "

So if you have a $100 player, who goes on the Covid list, and you put out replacement, and someone bumps him, you no longer get free cut...

Seems this was to prevent people putting out large bids on borderline replacements to prevent overbidding?

I see it being more an issue in SAC'd with the lower priced IDP's

Hopefully won't be big issue...we shall see....
