some of the arguments what if you get a covid player on sat, ok having been in this league for probably ten plus years I have had plenty of times I get a player injured during the week and I got with an empty slot on game day. so its bound to happen, and I know the argument is the evil COVID, but I think personally were over playing COVID. we had what a two week period with protests that there was no mention of how dangerous it was to spread it, I mean common either it applies to all cases or not. but anyway, I think Keep It Simple. I doubt I vote for anything other than just add IR slots.

FWIW, many people, including myself mentioned how stupid the protesters were being in regards to the pandemic, particularly those that refused to wear facemasks. Unfortunately, the anger they have supersedes their concerns over the pandemic. I fear the black community (which already appears to be the hardest hit by the virus according to the statistics) will be paying the price for these protests with the further spread of the virus in their communities in the coming weeks and months.
I work in healthcare, I have an immuno-compromised system (I understand your wife does as well). I also have family on the front lines in the medical field, as well as in the laboratory. I have a brother that is a brilliant scientist who has spent his entire life on RNA & DNA research and the impact and prevention of viruses and bacteria to humans. He has built test assays used around the world for the identification and treatment of various viruses, including several varieties of the deadliest coronaviruses. The people I know and trust tell me Covid is not to be taken lightly and we're far from over with this pandemic. Just look at the alarming increases in the southern and western states. Florida had over 8000 new cases this past weekend alone.
