I don't agree. WR's are far less consistent in development compared to RB's. WR's bust more often and usually take more time to develop. When they do perform, their salaries quickly escalate. Whereas RBs often develop quickly and fade quickly by comparison.
Case in point, 2016 1.07 WR Michael Thomas who entering his 3rd season is already over 1000cbs at 1089 and currently the 15th highest paid WR in the Frenzy for 2018.
Then there is 2015 1.01 WR Sammy Watkins who had a big first year and has struggled since, yet at 855cbs entering the 5th year of his rookie deal is currently the 20th highest paid WR in Frenzy with production that doesn't come close to meriting that (38th overall in 2017).
And yet another shining example off the Preds roster, 2016 1.09 WR Leontee Caroo, a colossal bust to date who isn't remotely worth the 327cb contract he currently has and is lucky to even have a spot on a TS at this point.
I think both incentive and wage scales are perfect as they are currently.
