Another option we could consider BTW is a 14 week season but only 4 playoff teams (3 division winners and 1 wildcard) with the playoffs weeks 15 and 16.

Eliminates a week 17 championship game, but also makes it harder to get in the playoffs.

I would vote for this option over the other 3 choices if there is enough interest.
