The 2017 schedule is setup as 13 weeks with a double header week 4.
If I did this right, the schedule from 2016 should be shifted downwards a week.
i.e. the order you played divisional teams in 2016 (say A, B, C, over weeks 1-3) will be shifted back a week with the last team you played moving to the first week and the others shifted back a week. Thus compared to 2016, your divisional opponents should be in C, A, B order for the 2017 season.
Non-divisional opponents have similarly been shifted back a week, and had their weeks reversed (i.e. playing div B 1st in the rotation, then A, whereas 2016 was div A then B). If 2016 had teams in D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K order, 2017 will be ordered as K, J, E, D, G, F, I, H.
Non-divisional games will start with the week 4 double header and should alternate with the other non-division every other week through week 11.
Weeks 12 and 13 will be the last 2 divisional teams.
Note, for competitive reasons, I intentionally set the double header as week 4 instead of week 12 as too often teams out of the mix have fire-sale'd off their best players resulting in an uneven playing field for the double header. I debated doing it week 1 or 2 but figured week 4 allowed teams to settle in with their roster over the first few weeks of the season before the dreaded double header week.
Please CHECK YOUR SCHEDULES and let me know if something isn't as above!
Thanks,
your double header despising leaguemate...
