I'd agree with Pat to a degree, however, my thoughts on waiver mechanics would be another team could claim a player, but like the NFL, the claiming team would have to make them Active Roster with no eligibility for TS or PS unless subsequently waived by the claiming team and reclaimed by the original
With that mechanic in place I don't think the original demoting team shouldn't have or need the right to retract a claim.
