49ers | Bruce Ellington signs Wed May 28, 06:40 PM The San Francisco 49ers have signed fourth-round pick WR Bruce Ellington Wednesday, May 28. Per NFL policy, all contracts signed by draft picks are four-year deals. Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Footballguys view: Ellington reminds some in the scouting community of Randall Cobb (Packers) because of his speed and run-after-the-catch ability. He has great body control and hand/eye coordination which help make him a clutch receiver who can be a quarterback favorite. Ellington will compete for the slot receiver duties behind Michael Crabtree and Anquan Boldin.
