That's my understanding... though you may be right that we haven't spelled this out clearly in the rules.

After giving it some thought, I'd have to agree with Jim's interpretation.
Even if you activate a guy and demote on the same day it counts as 1 week. Once he's played, the next week starts, thus day after game would be 2 weeks to send him down.
Also don't forget, once a TS or PS player is activated their salaries are guaranteed even if they're placed back on the TS.
