I believe I won this auction as of 10:58am today.

OK – Here is what I hope to do after winning the Stephen Jackson auction for 1580 cb’s.
I believe I am at 3 cb’s (though MFL lists me at +43 after cutting James Jones and adding Buffalo). If I add Jackson’s 1580 and subtract my start of 3 I’m at –1577.
If I IR MForte (2000/1) who is listed as Questionable I save 1000 cb’s bringing my total down to –577.
If I cut both my recent waiver claims MManningham (380/1) + Buffalo (199/1) with no penalty

If the waived player is claimed, the waiving team receives a credit in the amount of 10% of the current year�s salary (the portion of the cap hit that does not pertain to the signing bonus) to their active roster salary cap. If the claimed player is subsequently released during the length of the same contract, the waiving team will receive a cap hit of only 10% of the current years salary, as the singing bonus is to be considered paid by the original team. If the player is claimed through the waiver wire, the second waiving team will receive the 10% cap credit, and essentially no penalty for releasing the player.


then I stand at 380+199=579 and 579-577=2 cb’s to the good.

I’m off to work and won’t be back until early Wed morning. If no issues with my scenario then I will put through these changes on Preds Forum then. If I won Jackson at 10:58am on Tues then that would be within the 24 hour time limit. Later.
