How does transition from Off-Season into In-Season FA work?

I know we voted on eliminating the Ebay style bids and in that vote thread there is no saying how auctions still in play transition.

If auctions started prior to In-Season FA do they retain the 48hr clock or switch to a 24 hr clock on bids made after In-Season FA?

My understanding is that all bids started in the off season switch to a 24 hour clock once the seasons starts. That has to be it since it would be the only managable way to keep track of threads.

I told frank before, any new bids from today on would be 24 hours, any previous bids, would continue to run out the 48 hour clock.
